About Search
This menu is for those who want to know about society and entertainment from the end of the Taisho era to the prewar and wartime Showa era.
It lets you search and view Asahi Graph page images from the January 25, 1923 inaugural issue to 1956, using the date of issue and the tables of contents or summaries.
- Asahi Graph is an optional content for users of Asahi Shimbun Cross-Search.

The "Asahi Graph" Tables of Contents / Summaries search lets you perform a full-text search covering the tables of contents or the article summaries placed on each page. This is not a search method covering the articles themselves.
Searching is easy: Just input the keyword you want to look up.
You can restrict the time period using "Date of Issue."
When there are two or more keywords you want to search for, insert a space between the words to search for "Tables of Contents / Summaries" that include all of those keywords.After inputting a keyword, click on the "AND" or "OR" button to display "AND" or "OR." These allow you to search using the respective logical operations "include both" or "include any," with respect to the keywords appearing before and after these symbols.

Number of headlines
You could choose the number of headlines shown on a single page between 50 to 100. The original setting is 50 headlines.Sorting
You could arrange the sequence of the headlines. The original setting is the oldestarticle to be shown on the top of the list. You could either choose the original setting or list the newest headline available on the top of of the list.
